Das Wayfarer’s Arrival wurde als Lager für besonders für Anfänger gegründet: Hier soll sich jeder zuhause und aufgehoben fühlen, der neu auf diesem wundersamen und fremden Kontinent ist. Wir hatten den Traum, Neuankömmlingen diese Welt zu Füßen zu legen, sie ihnen zu zeigen und zu erklären, damit sie ihn lieben lernen. Diesem Ziel haben wir uns seitdem verschrieben. Trotz unseres Einsatzes und der Vergrößerung des Lagers wissen wir, dass das nur der Anfang unseres Weges ist. Wir begleiten nur das »Kind« bei seinen ersten wackeligen Schritten, diese Welt zu erkunden.
Um ein Lager wie das Wayfarer’s Arrival verwalten zu können, benötigt es viele ungesehene Dinge: Flatterband, Kreidespray und kleine Heringe zum Abgrenzen der einzelnen Lager, Ersatzheringe für die Zelte, falls mal einer verloren geht, Biertischgarnituren und Holz für die Gemeinschaftsplätze, Feuerstellen für die, die keinen Ort zum Kochen haben und noch so vieles mehr.
Bisher haben wir als eure Viertelmanager diese Kosten aus eigener Tasche bewältigt, aber das Lager wächst immer weiter an. Und um diese Kosten auch in Zukunft besser decken zu können und den Wayfaren schließlich ein noch besseres Erlebnis bieten zu können, würden wir uns über eine kleine Spende freuen. Das Geld geht zu einhundert Prozent in die Organisation und Verbesserung des Wayfarer’s Arrival und der darin lebenden Gemeinschaft – also euch als Spieler. Die Spenden sammeln wir zusammen mit einem gemeinnützigen Verein der LARP in seiner Satzung stehen hat. Das führt dazu das eure Spende als echte Spende gilt und ihr eine Spendenquittung bekommt, wenn ihr das wollt. Wir danken euch für eure Unterstützung und treue zu den Wayfarern und freuen uns darauf, euch alle auf dem ConQuest wiedersehen zu dürfen.

The Wayfarer's Arrival was founded as a camp especially for beginners: We want everyone who is new to this amazing and foreign continent to feel home and welcome. We had the dream of opening up this world to newcomers, showing and explaining it to them so that they will learn to love it. We have dedicated ourselves to this goal ever since. Despite our efforts and the growth of the camp, we know that this is only the beginning of our journey. We are just supporting the "child" in its first shaky steps to explore this world.
Managing a camp like the Wayfarer's Arrival requires many unseen things: tape, chalk spray and small pegs to mark out the individual camps, spare pegs for the tents in case one gets lost, beer table sets and wood for the communal areas, fire pits for those who don't have a place to cook and so much more.
So far, as your district managers, we have covered these costs out of our own pockets, but the camp continues to grow. And in order to be able to continue to cover these costs in the future and be able to offer the Wayfarers an even better experience, we would appreciate a small donation. One hundred percent of the money will go towards the organisation and improvement of the Wayfarer's Arrival and the community that lives in it - you, the players. We collect the donations together with a non-profit organisation that has LARP in its constitution. This means that your donation will count as a real donation and you will receive a receipt if you wish.
